Living Life Care Center

Where Education Meets Empowerment

A Free Resource for Families, Caregivers, and the Community

Families are left unprepared, unsupported, and overwhelmed when it comes to caring for the people they love most. That’s why we created the Living Life Care Center — not just for our staff, but for the community. For YOU.

This space exists to equip, empower, and educate — offering free hands-on training, practical education, and emotional support to anyone navigating the challenges of aging, disability, or caregiving.

When families are tasked with taking care of a loved one with out the proper skillset, serious dangers occur such as …
1. Increased Risk of Injury to the Loved One Without training in proper transfer techniques, lifting, or mobility support, family caregivers can unintentionally cause falls, fractures, or muscle strain in the person they’re trying to help — especially when assisting with toileting, bathing, or getting in/out of bed.

2. Higher Rates of Caregiver Burnout and Depression
Untrained caregivers often underestimate the emotional, physical, and psychological toll of caregiving. Studies show that up to 70% of family caregivers experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, or burnout when they’re not adequately prepared.

3. Legal and Liability Risks
Family caregivers who perform medical or personal care tasks without proper instruction can accidentally cause harm — and may even open themselves to legal risks if something goes wrong.

4. Missed Warning Signs of Serious Health Issues
Trained caregivers know how to recognize subtle changes that may signal infections, strokes, UTIs, or cognitive decline. Without that knowledge, families may miss early symptoms — delaying treatment and worsening outcomes.

5. Strained Family Relationships and Emotional Conflict
When care responsibilities fall on a single family member without guidance or training, it often leads to resentment, miscommunication, and emotional tension within the family. The lack of structure can turn love into obligation, and caregiving into a source of guilt, isolation, or conflict — especially when others feel unequipped to step in.

What We Offer the Community

1. Free Family Caregiver Training
Whether you’re a son, daughter, neighbor, or spouse — you don’t have to do this alone. We teach essential skills like safe transferring, toileting, mobility assistance, and memory care basics, so you feel confident, not scared, and supported, not stranded.

2. A Safe Place to Ask Questions
There’s no such thing as a dumb question when someone’s well-being is on the line. Whether you’re planning for future care or deep in the trenches now, our doors are open. We’ll help you make sense of the systems, the services, and the next steps.

Why We Do This...

Because the system isn’t built for families — we are. Because good information shouldn’t come with a price tag — we don’t charge. Because love is not enough without knowledge — we teach.

The Living Life Care Center exists to break down barriers between agency and family, education and emotion, community and care. This is how we raise the standard — together.
